The Galaxy S21 was supported with lots of rumors and leaks suggest what Samsung’s upcoming phone would look like and its features. Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus have used flat display panels. And a curved-edge panel is planned for the premium Galaxy S21 Ultra. The S21’s flat display with its petite black bezel looks really contemporary. The S21 series is available in Phantom Black, Phantom White, Phantom Silver, Phantom Pink, and Phantom Silver at the launch. The screen size of the standard model is said to be 6.2 inches, and the dimensions will apparently be 151.7 mm x 71.2 mm x 7.9 mm.

The display size of the S21 Ultra is 6.8 inches. The S21 Ultra supports Wacom-compatible styluses, including all S-Pens. Samsung has launched a new S-Pen for this Ultra. There’s very little to break up the sleek edges of the phone: the bottom edge features the SIM tray, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille, while on the right side are the power button and volume rocker. The Bixby button found on other handsets from Samsung hasn’t made a return in Galaxy S21. The Galaxy S21 display features a 120Hz maximum refresh rate. Samsung has also made significant improvements to the fingerprint scanner, 70% larger than other phones.

Galaxy S21 Camera

The camera hardware on the S21 is exactly the same found on the S20. Samsung Galaxy S21 and Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus will both have a 12MP f/1.8 primary camera, a 64MP f/2.0 telephoto one, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide one, and a 10MP f/2.2 front-facing one. As for storage, we’re looking at 128GB or 256GB configurations for all three models, with the Galaxy S21 Ultra also offering a higher 512GB capacity with an extra bit of cash. All three devices will support a 120Hz refresh rate. But the Galaxy S21 Ultra benefits from the variable LTPO tech, meaning, refresh rate is adjusted as per the content being displayed helping with better battery life.

The S21 comes with Android 11 topped with Samsung’s OneUI 3.1 interface. The chipset –Exynos 2100 version of the phone – is also powerful, delivering some fantastic results in real-world use as well as in benchmarking software. Samsung has fully embraced 5G in 2021 too, and all variants of the Galaxy S21 are 5G-compatible.

Battery and other features

Samsung has chosen a 4,000mAh cell for the Galaxy S21, a 4,800mAh battery for the Galaxy S21+, and a 5,000mAh implementation for the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The Samsung Galaxy S21 is compatible with Qi wireless charging, as well as proprietary fast charging using the company’s 25W fast-charging tech via the phone’s USB-C port.
