The Avatar feature was rolled out on Facebook last week. There are so many different ways you can use your avatar, including in comments, Stories, emotions, and expressions. Avatars let you react and engage more faithfully with family and friends across the app.
Our guide will show you how to create your own Avatar in the Facebook mobile application.

We used facebook app on iOS. But you can use on Android device too.

Here’s how to find the avatar maker on Facebook:

Step 1: Open up the Facebook app on your phone. Then tap on the three horizontal lines in the bottom-right of your screen.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap “See More.”

Step 3: Tap “Avatars.”

Step 4: Tap “Next.”

Step 5: Tap one of the skin tone options and then tap “Next” at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6: You can customize your Avatar in a variety of ways by choosing their hairstyle, hair color, hair length, face shape, eye shape and color, makeup, eyebrow style and color, nose shape, mouth shape and color, facial hair, body shape, outfit and more.

Step 7: If you’re done customizing your avatar tap the checkmark in the top right corner of your screen.

Step 8: Tap “Next.”

Step 9: Tap “Done.”

After you’ve created your avatar, you’re free to use your personalized avatar stickers in the comments, Facebook stories. You can also share it with your newsfeed and show it off to your friends.
