
Acer announced a new Chrome OS laptop called Acer Chromebook Spin 514. This power, combined with a durable, stylish design and long battery life makes the Chromebook more than capable of handling all the applications consumers need as they work and learn from home. It will be available in multiple variants, in addition to Enterprise Edition models.
The newly launched Acer Chromebook Spin 514 features a metal build and a 14-inch full HD IPS display with 6.1mm side bezels and a 78 percent screen-to-body ratio. The panel has Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 3700C and Ryzen 5 3500C quad-core processors with respective built-in AMD Radeon Vega Graphics. It comes with 16GB of RAM. The Acer Chromebook Spin 514 packs 256GB of SSD storage. The device features a convertible design that can be opened a full 360-degrees, enabling its touchscreen display to be used for collaboration, sharing, presenting, or typing in a variety of spaces and environments.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth and it comes with HDMI Port, Multi Card Slot, Headphone and Mic Combo Jack, Mic In ports. Further, it sports a dual-speaker, dual-microphone with support for Google Assistant, and HD webcam. The Company is claiming that its new laptop will deliver up to 10 hours of battery back up. It is available in three colors: Pure Silver, Steel Gray, and Mist Green.
